Link North’s operations are supported with project-based funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor). Link North also receives financial and in-kind support from the Timmins Economic Development, a department of the Corporation of the City of Timmins.

Janna leads the Link North’s program and services helping business owners launch, build or grow their operations. Janna Burke has over 20 years experience in building strong client relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners throughout the region by providing funding solutions to foster client’s success
Prior to joining the Timmins Economic Development, Janna was a Commercial Account Manager for BMO Bank of Montreal, Executive Director for the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation and Part Time Faculty teaching and mentoring students in the School of Business at Northern College.
Janna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, CSC designation along with an Accredited Financial Councillor (AFC ®) certification. She is passionate about her Northern roots and driven to help clients prosper with their business goals.

Ross oversees the development and delivery of Link North’s programs and services. He is well-connected across the innovation ecosystem and has extensive, proven experience supporting entrepreneurs and businesses with applied research, commercialization, scale-up, and expansion initiatives. In addition to advancing Link North’s mandate, Ross leads and manages key projects for the Timmins Economic Development, including initiatives in the energy and agriculture sectors.
He holds a Business Accounting diploma and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is also a certified Economic Development Professional (EcD) through the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC).
